Senior Designer – Design Lead
Oct 2023 – Present
I joined Oliver Agency as a Senior Designer and have since stepped into a Design Lead role, working across major regional and global brands throughout Australia and the SEAPAC region, including Reckitt, Opella, Kimberly-Clark, Bayer and Husqvarna.
My role sits at the intersection of design, strategy and emerging technology. I partner closely with clients, strategists and multidisciplinary teams to uncover the broader opportunities behind a brief, align stakeholders around a shared vision and guide projects from concept through to delivery. Alongside leading creative outcomes, I mentor designers, contribute to creative standards across the business and help teams adopt AI-enabled workflows that strengthen both creative capability and operational efficiency.
What I enjoy most is helping people navigate complexity. Whether it's a campaign, a content ecosystem or a new way of working, I focus on creating clarity, building alignment and ensuring creative work delivers meaningful outcomes for both clients and audiences.
Founder
Nov 2016 – 2024
I founded The Helper Studio with a simple belief: good design should help people move forward with confidence.
Over eight years, I partnered with founders, business owners and purpose-driven organisations to develop brands that felt authentic, strategically grounded and built for long-term growth. My work spanned brand strategy, identity design and communications, helping organisations better articulate who they are, what they stand for and how they create value.
Running the studio taught me as much about people as it did about design. Every project was an opportunity to listen deeply, uncover underlying challenges and develop solutions that balanced commercial objectives with genuine human connection.
Mid-Weight Desginer
June 2021 – Mar 2023
At Hello Social, I worked within a highly collaborative creative team delivering social-first campaigns, content systems and brand experiences for some of Australia's most recognised brands.
Working across clients including Amazon, BMW, CoinSpot, Uber, Paramount+ and the NSW Government, I contributed to projects that required both creative agility and strategic thinking. The fast-paced nature of the agency environment strengthened my ability to develop ideas quickly, collaborate across disciplines and create work that resonated with audiences across multiple platforms.
This experience reinforced the importance of designing within systems, ensuring every piece of communication contributed to a larger narrative and business objective.
Junior – Mid-Weight Designer
Feb 2020 – June 2021
As part of the internal sales and marketing team, I helped shape the visual identities and communication materials for residential property developments across New South Wales.
Working across branding, marketing campaigns and production, I developed a deeper understanding of how design influences decision-making and customer perception. The role provided valuable experience working closely with stakeholders, managing projects from concept through to delivery and balancing creative ambition with commercial realities.
It was here that I developed an appreciation for design as a strategic business tool, rather than simply a visual output.
Whether launching a new brand, evolving an existing one or seeking creative leadership on a campaign, Jack is open to collaborations and project opportunities.
